In the first week of March 2026, Aybrook & Mason welcomed a new mash tun at the distillery, complementing our existing equipment.
A mash tun is essential for crafting authentic spirits. Its role is to convert the starches in grains into fermentable sugars. It is key to producing whiskey and valuable when developing unique grain-based spirits. It can also be used to craft exceptional artisanal rums.
This addition completes our distilling setup, giving us the freedom to go wherever our craft takes us.
